Dr. Eugene W. Diamond is the pastor of Abyssinia Missionary Baptist Church. He is a born again Christian who accepted the call into the ministry on July 3, 1988. He holds a BS Degree in Psychology, with a minor in Religion from Florida A&M University in Tallahassee, FL. He received a Master of Divinity Degree from Columbia Theological Seminary in Decatur, Georgia. When Dr. Diamond graduated from Columbia Seminary, he received The Distinguished Preacher Award, an extremely high honorable award. In December 2009, Dr. Eugene Diamond received his Doctorate of Ministry from United Theological Seminary in Dayton, Ohio. Dr Diamond submitted his final dissertation on Prophetic Preaching That Reframes the Understanding of Christian Responsibility in the Life of Young Adults.
Dr. Diamond is a proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc., and the NAACP. He currently serves as Vice President of the Young Pastors Department of the Florida General Baptist Convention, where he aids new pastors in church & ministry development. Dr. Eugene Diamond is a national preacher; preaching at the National Baptist Convention USA Inc., state conferences, & seminars around the country. Dr. Diamond is the proud father of three wonderful children Keonna, Tom, and Enandi.
