The COVID Relief Fund Assistance Program will provide eligible individuals with a one-time rental or utility subsidy who have been directly impacted by COVID-19. Applicants will not be responsible for repaying any subsidy amount they receive. The COVID Relief Fund Assistance Program will be awarded on a first come, first served basis. To apply, applicants can pick up a form at the church, 10325 Interstate Center Drive, Jacksonville, FL 32218 or submit the application electronically from our website: www.abyssinia.org All applications will be accepted throughout the four-week application period of September 16th, 2020 thru October 14th, 2020. Abyssinia MBC will prioritize disbursement of funds to eligible individuals based on the greatest Economic and/or Social Need as follows: Rental or Utility burden, Risk of Homelessness, Eviction or Foreclosure (due to missed rental or mortgage payments) that have occurred, as a result of Loss of Income due to the effects of COVID-19.
The applicant agrees that all relief funds are to be used for the requested purpose and understands that documentation will be required with each application and that any information submitted will be verified for all request. The applicant further understands that only ONE (1) application request will be accepted for this period of Relief Fund Assistance.
